Fox Transport Canada is a full service transport management company. We offer household and commercial moving and storage, freight shipping, and all modes of transport worldwide. At Fox Transport we strive to maintain both personal and professional service at competitive costs. We are members of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB), 
 

At Fox Transport Canada we commit to making every customer's shipment a priority, from initial contact to delivery. We strive to provide a single point of contact for all aspects of a customer's shipment and to handle any questions or concerns during the process. We are currently automating our shipment documentation process to dedicate more time for customer service.

 

Our personnel have been working in the shipping industry for more than 30 years and we are continually reviewing our systems for improvement and to adapt to the changes in the transport industry. Cargo packing and loading, export crating and handling, international documentary requirements, new developments and trade agreements, new routes and services offered, transportation insurance and liability are some of the evolving areas we monitor in order to serve our customers better.

Owner/Operator

Michael Frevola has been involved in the transportation business for more than 40 years with companies such as Elders IXL Grain,  Northern Transportation Ltd, Kuehne & Nagel Transport & Logistics, Himalaya Clothing Co., Canada Post Corporation and 4 Directions Moving & Transport  Ltd . His experience includes:

 

  • driving  moving trucks across North America

  • working on a tug boat hauling freight to the Canadian North

  • negotiating letters of credit, export documentation, and insurance

  • worked with different moving, storage, and transport businesses in Halifax for more than 25 years

  • shipping grain around the world from the Canadian Prairies

  • working as an export coordinator for a multi-national freight forwarding company in Halifax

 

Michael holds a Diploma in Transportation Management: International Business from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Vancouver, BC and a Freight Forwarding Certificate through the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA). He has completed an Art Packing course with Heritage Canada and is currently studying international trade with Nova Scotia Business Inc.
